Our methodology
Igniting Hope, Inspiring Change
Wrap Charity is a not-for-profit initiative whose aim is to make lasting contribution in the fight against poverty and achieve greate justice in society.
Formed by a group of Ugandan volunteers living and working in Kampala – Uganda. We Rise And Prosper ( WRAP) has evolved into a national non-governmental organisation with programmes and outreaches in as many parts of the courntry as resources and capacity permit.

Health Rights
We work to apply the human rights-based approach in health advocacy and programming. Our work is skewed towards human rights principals including; “universality and inalienability; indivisibility; interdependence and interrelatedness; non-discrimination and equality; participation and inclusion; accountability and the rule of law.”
Their lives matter
Women and Girls
Women and Girls’ Rights are an important indicator of understanding and measuring well-being. Despite significant gains made, patriarchy, religion, sexism, unequal power relations,illeteracy, negative norms and traditional beliefs all foster inequality and vulnerability that undermine the realization of women and girls’ rights. We can’t claim to fight for human rights if we are not fighting for women and girls’ rights!

Economic & Social Enpowerment
We work together with target communities to mobilize and nurture the growth of solidarity movements and networks that foster economic and social empowerment. We connect these movements and networks to other economic and social groups for learning.
